Cottonwood Archery Club News Apr. 2010
Greetings friends
Hope that the turkey hunting is going well for
all of you. I was able
to kill a nice gobbler on an evening hunt on
4/9. I hope to fill at
least one other tag. Good luck to all of you
as you take to the woods.
Be safe, and remember to take photos for the
web page.
Indoor league has come and gone. It was
another great season for
the club. Twenty three shooters finished the
league. We also signed
up some new members, with some of those
winning awards. Great
job to all. As soon as awards are in we will
plan an evening for pre-
sensations, food, and fun. Contact Marty Hug
or myself in the next
week or so to find out when and where. Here
is a list of the top

Our Indoor Winter 3D Tournament went off
without a hitch once
again this year. This was the fourth year in
a row that we hosted the
event. We broke all previous records of
attendance with 124 shooters
taking part. This one just keeps getting
better, and bigger thanks to
everyone who pitches in to help out and make
it happen. Also a Big
Thank You!!! to the Hastings YMCA for their
cooperation.
Outdoor 3D season is almost upon us. That
means we will need to
plan a work day at the Prairie Lake Range.
We have new material for
target butt replacement. We will need to
work all of the butts and
towers over, paint the building, and clean
up the range. We will set a
date for that on awards night. All of our
outdoor 3D dates are set and
posted on the web site for your info..
